Glades AG currently uses the GPS system manufactured by Satloc. We have upgraded to the SLXg systems with the version 3.35 software, which is the latest software as of 2001. Be sure to change the default mask angle of 10, to a 4 or 5. It works good at these settings in south Florida. These numbers could be different for other locations.

The lightbar is generally bright enough to see, EXCEPT early am and late pm running east & west. We found someone that makes a shield to go over the lightbar that works and looks really great! They have come a long way since version 2.06b when you had to change the propagation number to 1.09 from 1.08 to get the light bar to stabilize!

The flow control/monitor system really works great! It is installed on all aircraft. We did have a problem with burning up motor control cards, but that problem is cured for now. We can set 3.0 gal/acre in the system, and it maintains that flow upwind or downwind according to your ground speed!! No more fumbling around with the money handle to get the first pass set. Plug in your GPA, turn on the pump, and the system does the rest!
